Christ the redeemer
Rio de Janeiro, the host of Olympic Games this year, there is a big Jesus statue which is called " Christ the redeemer " looking over dynamic city. The statue of Jesus which is in Brazil. Perhaps it is the famous landmark in the city.

ReplyDeleteWilly here again! Good post on one of Rio de Janeiro's landmarks, Christ the Redeemer. I might have to agree, the statue may be the most popular sight to see in the city, I mean look at the size of that statue!
Kinda reminds me of me, y'know...not the fact that it's Christ, but because it's pretty tall...and I'm pretty tall...you get the idea, don't you?
Besides that, good job presenting this! Though I would think that the task was about landmarks in New Zealand, but hey, it's coming, right?

Like Willy, I am really looking forward to reading about landmarks in New Zealand, when you're next online, Newsam. To earn points all you have to do is choose three popular landmarks in New Zealand and briefly describe them. Many other students have chosen landmarks like the Sky Tower, the Beehive, One Tree Hill College, the Waitomo Caves, etc.
