My Maths Reflection...

Today Miss Tofa has given us a maths problem to solve out. The maths problem we have done was a multiplication and division. We had to go in front of the class and we had to write down the strategies we have done...

Here are the strategies I have done and why I used this strategy:

a)How many people can be seated in the room?

16 x 9 = 144

8 x 2 = 16

144 + 16 = 160 + 14 = 174

b) 3 x 174 = 522, 4 x 174 = 696, 5 x 174 = 870

4 x 170 = 580, 4 x 4 = 16, 680+ 16 = 696

These are my strategies I have done during the week. You can maybe use these to solve out your problems and maybe to help you get more new strategies. This helped me to solve my problems in maths and it can help you understand the equation or the questions.
